Storied: Cold War Legacies, 2024

In October 2024, I was thrilled to have my first exhibition in NYC at Stephanie Kim Gallery in Tribeca, exhibiting with fellow artist Mina Cheon in a powerful show Stephanie curated to open before the 2024 US Presidential election. I explored the current meaning of "Duck and Cover" by reinterpreting the thumbnail images from a Cold War era civil defense poster, drew from vintage fashion illustrations to express my anger about the overturn of Roe v. Wade and expressed my frustration about the never-ending cycle of gun violence in our country.

Following the show, Stephanie asked to represent me and I happily accepted. I'm looking forward to our collaboration in the US and abroad.
